I’ve been going to the Jurong Hill Top Japanese Restaurant for a long time. Its been around for about 2 decades. It looks old but I love its ambience, although the surroundings landscape has seen tremendous industrialisation. Since Peter loves a good teppanyaki, I reckoned it was time to head on down. So off we when after a days work, Peter, Kim, G and I, to have a hearty meal and a dear old place. It was crowded when we arrived and I was so afriad we couldn’t get a front seat to watch the action, thankfully there was just 4 seats available and the waitress promptly lead us to it.
I ordered for us, my usual when I’m there. Olive rice, scallops, king prawns, salmon, NZ ribeye steak, an assortment of vegetables and lastly the soft shell crab (new on the menu but we didn’t found it to be fantastic). Peter swore that his eyebrows got seared.
